sketch Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Is that the hand held prime or the press?
bubbasks Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Hand held. Has universal shell holder spring so just pop in the case and squeeze. Super quick
shibiwan Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Wow.... great job! I don't even have the luxury of spending more than 20 mins per reload stint (including case prep) before the kids act up and do something stupid that requires my intervention. Dane Armory Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Been working on 500+ 223 cases, next step is I/O champhering then installing primers. Spent 4hours on it over tthe weekend. I need to pick up a half a box of Win WSR primers for this job.

shibiwan Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Reloaded 223's last night, and wondering why I was reloading when I had just sold the beater AR15
planeflyer21 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 Looks like someone needs another AR15 to beat around.
str8shuutr45 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Posted January 30, 2014 (edited) Tumbled, de-capped, and sidelined pockets to 385 Hornady Match cases and 280 Federal GYM cases Drinking some Dewars blue label now HOLY F&*K- I just read my own post - I hate posting from my iPhone...cleaned and uniformed primer pockets and the Federal Cases are gold medal match...since then, I've full length sized, and trimmed the 308 cases. I have put my load development on paper using 155 gr and 168 gr Nosler BTHP custom comp bullets. I'm unfortunately stuck using the powder that I have on hand ( TAC, Benchmark, H335, and BL-C 2) since no one locally has anything that is very useful. I hope to start loading this weekend and if the weather improves, go out to test in the next few weeks. Edited January 30, 2014 by str8shuutr45
seasprite Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Just did another 20 .30-30 rounds. Now we get dumped on by 5"-9" of snow so I won't be going to the range for a while. :'(
shibiwan Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 De-primed and prepped the bras I shot earlier today. Brass pizza anyone?
texas30cal Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I picked up supplies today, 2lbs h322, 3 lbs. titegroup, 2 lbs. h4831, and 1lb IMR 7828ssc, 3k rem. lg. pistol, 1k fed. lg. rifle, 3 hundred fed. lg. mag. rifle, and 1k 62 gr. .224 fmj pulldowns. Lots to do!!
mineralman55 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Prepped 500 7.62x51 cases today. Got them from Wideners. Mostly LC but a fair number of WCC and TAA headstamps. These are really nice, A bit tarnished but they clean up in the tumbler beautifully to a bright, light yellow brass color. Sized, swaged, primer pocket cleaned, trimmed. I may have to get some more.
shibiwan Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Made more 300AAC, 5.56 and 308 brass today. Deprimed the 308's and gotta start on the rest later.
planeflyer21 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Forgot all about this thread! Melted down about 25#s of wheel weights, cleaned the soup, then cast them into clean ingots yesterday.

sketch Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Nice work Larry just finished 500 .223!! That was a lot of work ;)
392heminut Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 That's just the start, the rifle brass all needs to be resized, trimmed and tumbled again! I suspect it will sit until I need to reload it before any of that gets done.
shibiwan Posted March 16, 2014 Report Posted March 16, 2014 Last night: Loaded 50 rounds of 308 with Barnes TTSX-BT (165gr) and Varget, and loaded 29 rounds 175gr Hornady HPBT. Cleaned and prepped 300BLK brass. Later tonight: Load up subsonic 300 BLK rounds.
