I know we had a hobbies thread going where a couple of ATV pics had been posted, but let's dedicate a thread to it.

 

Last year I picked up a new quad just before hunting season started, got a Suzuki KingQuad 750.  This bike is a beast, almost more power than you care to have in a utility ATV.

Here's my wife on her last quad. She sold it just before the baby was born. HONDA 450R... With ALL the bells and whistles.

I promised her a new ride after the babies are all done. She wants the Can-Am 450r... Daddy wants the Can-Am 1000 4x4!

Idk why the hell they show up side ways but it's a 2011 Polaris 550 EFI put swap lite tires and a clutch kit in this winter she throws a roost

I have been working on a side project with a friend of mine on a 1/8 mile racing quad.  Its a Honda 450r with a GSXR1000 motor.

Phase 1 had a GSXR 750 motor and ran a 12 sec 1/4 mile @ 103mph but hit 90mph in the 1/8th

Phase 2 has a GSXR1000 motor and a stretched frame, road tires, open headers, new fuel system, and a good tune. (NOS may be in the works as well)  Cant wait to hit the track with this thing in June at scraping the coast in Biloxi, MS.

 

 

This is a video from a few weeks back when we first fired her up before the tune. (still a bit of work left to do also wiring wise)

Here is the Rhino last year with everyone but me.

Here is me and the boy. This was the first trip with his seat in the back.

And not a great picture(they're all cell phone shots) but here are the YFZ450's. I "fast and furious'd" them last year. No, not that fast and furious....the terrible movie one.

Clutch kit and new tires last winter really made a difference deer hunting this year. Friday we had 14" of snow, there was 20" a week before and the ground never froze so all the puddles and mud never froze. By Sunday it was 50 and a slushy muddy mess, then Monday we got another 6" of snow. When I got home we'd the quad was a frozen block of mud and ice
