$hit, VA state owes me money, WA state owes me money, and AZ owes me money.  The WA one might be decent - it's overpaid escrow on a house I owned in WA for 12 years.

Yep. Earlier this year I claimed around $250 owed to me by the electric company in Florida. Funny, considering that when I left Florida they were still claiming I owed them. I guess I was right after all. It must have collected interest over time because the money dispute was in double digits, not triple.
