That will happen anywhere you go - you do know that "first pages of threads" are probably on pinned topics, correct?

I'm new to LR-308 platform. I just acquired a Lone Star Lower and had them build it out. Now I'm on the search for a complete upper. Looking for answers so I don't blow myself or the rifle up. Thanks in advance for any help.

Am I too late for the party?

I just acquired a Savage MSR10, and I love it. I owned an M1A for years, so I didn't want to switch ammo. I'm still trying to outfit it to my needs. I like to keep things simple, Holosun red dot, 2-point sling, Magpul mags, and that's about it.

Looking for something to carry multiple mags, like a tactical vest or chest rig that my mags will fit into. Any suggestions?

Hit up Tactical Tailor, look for a MAV 1-piece or MAV 2-piece (whichever one you'd prefer), and add their 308 mag pouches with it. Great setup.

New to the forum and the AR-10. Just got an Aero 18” upper (.308) and an Aero collapsible stock lower. Just put in a Geissele SSA-E trigger in the gun. Have not shot the gun yet, but looking forward to it!!

This looks like a great forum and I hope to learn a lot here!

I made the mistake of getting a couple of the plastic lowers from Tennessee Arms. You cannot use a Giessele or Right to Bear trigger with them. Somehow it hangs up the bolt after a couple shots. I wasted a lot of hours figuring out what the problem was, and I ended up getting a couple of drop in timney triggers and it works fine.
