beachmaster Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Hey guys, after a family visit, I plan on doing as much shooting in Tucson as possible, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to tag along or host us at your range. My dad is down a 308 battle rifle, so all he has left is a Socom 16, and I am trying to talk him into a 308 ar, so a big 308 ar shootapalooza would be cool. Heck, it doesn't have to be a 308 ar shootapalooza... any kind of shootapalooza with the good folks on this forum would be a great time! And I know I have some of my slings floating around the area... it would be cool to get a group picture, and a picture of a few rifles with my slings on them!
blue109 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 DNP...HEMI...Robo...get your roadtrip ready.
392heminut Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 My daughter and two grandsons will be here from Miami for Christmas and New Years and they want to go shooting. The boys have never been on a range that I know of but my daughter grew up shooting. I may have to try and run over there with them.
DNP Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Keep me posted. I haven't driven to Tucson lately!
shibiwan Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I'm in. I'll even donate some 50-gal drums as "targets" :D
planeflyer21 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) Dates man! We need dates! My two weekends in mid-December are totally full...training instructors both weekends. EDIT: Okay...I see the "after Christmas" title now. This would be a GREAT opportunity to head out west and give the long distance place a try! Edited December 5, 2014 by planeflyer21
Magwa Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 damn it looks to be about 1500 miles one way..... guess I am staying home :(
blue109 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I'm in for $20 on the magwa airline ticket fund.
planeflyer21 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 I'll go $20...that leaves a couple of more equal donations and we can get him here Southwest, via Tallahassee, switch planes in Chicago to Albaquerque, then on to Tucson.
beachmaster Posted December 5, 2014 Author Report Posted December 5, 2014 Haha, we have some swinging steel targets to bring which will be fun. I would like to get one of those bleeding zombies to bring as well...
blue109 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Marana range has some steel set up. it maxes at 100 but it is tannerite shenanigans friendly, and the RSO isn't TOO big of a Dick. the casa grande range looks fun though.
