liber
FWIW, not to go on and on...but there was one thing the movie made me realize. It made me realize what an impact 9/11 had on me and my outlook of our constitution, our freedom, and our 2A rights. I've always supported the constitution, and consider myself to be a constitutionalist (if there is such a person). In the movie when he sees the planes crashing into the world trade center, it reminded me how I felt and how I was changed as a person, after that was done to America. But it was also 9/11 that has caused so much infringement to our rights in general, some which I feel we will never see again...I hope I'm wrong, and do stand up for the 2A in every regard. blue109
911 didn't infringe on our rights....bush and his bosses doing what they do best...seizing an opportunity to push the globalist agenda...did. planeflyer21
Agree with you there blue. We should've shutdown our ports and borders, started mining coal and drilling for oil on 9/12/2001. 15 Saudi citizens slam into the WTC, supported by 3/4 of the Saudi royalty. All from the proceeds at our gas pumps. Edit for date retardation. Edited January 24, 2015 by planeflyer21
liber
911 didn't infringe on our rights....bush and his bosses doing what they do best...seizing an opportunity to push the globalist agenda...did.What I typed was that 9/11 was the cause. Wasn't just Bush, it is also the current administration, the NSA, multiple Governors, Bloomberg, et al...but 9/11 along with events such as Sandy Hook caused much of this domino effect, IMO. blue109
what I typed was 911 (or sandy hook, Colorado, ISIS, ) was not a cause for anything. merely an opportunity. I specified bush, because he happened to be the tool of choice during the time frame you referenced. the scary question is...are these chance opportunities, or are they carefully engineered opportunities. mrmackc
If it was not so flat and had salmon I would live in Texas they showed their true class in the situation Idaho is much the same and it is a bigger state you just have to pound it out flat to see it.... going to see the movie tomorrow night I am going without reading any hype just want to see his story as told by the director and I wish his wife and his children all the very best in their future.... Hello Magwa! BTW all of Texas ain'tt flat and we have salmon. I shoot one every once in a while when they are trying to eat the crappies out of the crappie hole. he he. Don't they taste a lot like bugle mouth bass? Kyle and Alexander were shot just a few miles away from here, that is the true tragedy of the story. Such a waste.... Anyway you would be welcome to come to Texas, we do eat a lot of our native meat, it is where the beef is! crimsonfalcon07
Just about to go see this. Have the book, and while perhaps the prose isn't stunning, the story and message are gripping enough for me to appreciate it. Honestly, the book is told in a comfortable voice, and flows well. It would have been far worse, IMO, if he had tried to write in a style not his own. RIP, Chris. Truly a hero.

Microgunner
I had to eat that damned moose nearly every day when I lived in Alaska. You can have all the moose, I don't care if I ever see any of that strong assed gamey meat again. You gotta be really creative with gravies and sauces to make that stuff palatable. Unless the hunter was lucky enough to score a cow tag. That wasn't too bad. All in all I'll take beef any day.
