What led up TO that and what happened after - is what made this country, and made the Declaration Of Independence, and later resulted in the Constitution Of The United States. I can carry on about this for days...

Would seem like a worthy cause strategy wise. Drive the Blue to the north and they can have Washington if they want to keep something on the left coast. Sorry @sketch
