392heminut Posted September 30, 2013 Report Posted September 30, 2013 Oh SNAP!!! <laughs> And I thought you were a real Mopar guy Tom! Actually, you would have to change several things to go to a 383, bellhousing(or tranny if auto) motor mounts, header pipes, wiring (distributor at front of engine) and possibly radiator outlet on other side.

Hell, I was talking about stroker engine for towing torque, and crazy Mike tossed out a 383... First thing I thought was the 383 SBC stroker... <lmao> There's no way in hell that I'll be changing the trans or wiring - too much money in the trans, first, wiring sucks, second, and if I was going that far, I'd go for a diesel conversion. <thumbsup> Edited September 30, 2013 by 98Z5V

planeflyer21 Posted November 10, 2013 Report Posted November 10, 2013 If I had that much disposable cash, brother, I'd be sitting here on the couch, with my arm around some MRAD. You can get MRAD all day. The Arizona 1 of 1 Turnbull AR308…not so much.
