BLKSHEEP
Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist and animal rights activist. The discussion came around to deer hunting. The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it 'Are you the one that killed my brother?' " Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French.' " ... Armed Eye Doc
I love that guy. This maybe blasphemy but I liked him when he was with Damn Yankees. I had that CD as an alarm clock for about a year right after I got married. My wife still won't listen to it 23 years later. Did you see him in the crappy reality show, Supergroup, with Sebastion Bach and Jason Bonham? It was on in 2007 or so. Sorry to thread jack. Back to the original topic now. Nuge is a master of soundclip putdowns. He is well-versed in what he talks about and can get in a shot before the other person has a chance to talk over him. If only there were more conservatives willing and able to be as bold.
Rsquared
Ted rocks. From when I was younger listening to his music, to his stance on constituitonal rights today. And who doesn't like his live version of "Great White Buffalo"? Yeah, yeah.......I know......it's from the 70's.

planeflyer21
Ted rocks. From when I was younger listening to his music, to his stance on constituitonal rights today. And who doesn't like his live version of "Great White Buffalo"? Yeah, yeah.......I know......it's from the 70's. I missed him in the '70s but saw him in the '90s. Way back he refused to headline concerts and would put on a supremely high-energy show! Many a great band has been booed off stage so Ted could do an encore. Pretty hard to follow a long-haired hippy jumping off an amp stack, while shooting a flaming arrow into an exploding target! Jon

EasyEJL
So Christmas 2010, I took the family on a driving trip to Virginia (I'm in Tampa, FL) to visit my brothers who all live in a fairly close area. My one brother is a pretty avid deer hunter, and part of why i'm building the 308 is to go hunting with him next winter. Anyhow, among the joys of spending the holidays with them in general, he had plenty of venison that we ate, and among it he had some done into sausage patties that were unbelievable. When I started putting the 308 together, my 8 year old daughter immediately asked "how soon can we go deer hunting" :D
392heminut
Yup, back when I used to hunt I would have my deer cut up into boneless steaks and the rest sausage!
