Boot_Scraper Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 When you think you had a bad day... somewhere in my shop there's a 3 legged rat.
sketch Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 did he chew it off or was it a clean slice??
Boot_Scraper Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 Not sure. But he was stuck there a while. You can see in the top right corner of the pic where he chewed on the trap for a while. That'll teach em. That center of uranus started to build a nest in my boat and he pulled a bunch of the insulation out of it.

I've done this before, problem Is water freeze the time of year they move in. I have used motor oil In the past too, it also keeps the stink down if you leave it for some time. Dead mouse soup = ???
mineralman55 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Put down the sticky traps. They work great for capturing unwanted rodents.
mineralman55 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Found a just for fun series of pics. Each pic was stereotypical of a particular state. First is Idaho. Second is Connecticut. You'll have to guess the third. That one is particularly in bad taste, but typical.
DNP Posted August 15, 2017 Report Posted August 15, 2017 Read the directions on this stuff. I don't know why this bothers me, but it does.

I worked at a grocery store that had a rat so big that it stepped one foot in the glue trap and walked around while dragging the trap. It slowed it down enough to catch it though.
