Tubbs finally got the flat wire springs for 300 BO in so I ordered one of those and grabbed a spring for the Matrix 308AR as well.

What is the benefit of flat wire vs round wire, if I may ask?

I've seen notices before stating certain buffers were not to be used with flat wire springs.  I've never seen anything but round wire, so I'm curious.

Yes eye doc I picked the new one in the mail yesterday. It will go in tomorrow. I ordered it from CDNN Sports I Abilene.

It will go in tomorrow unless that cold air gets my shop too cold. I only have a couple of small 20 electric heaters in a 40X40 foot shop. It is insulated but with 20 degree weather it only keeps it down to 40 degrees.

GRA    Tubbs makes a flatwire spring for ar15's and 308's...they do a few things different that really is a benefit...go to Tubbs site he's got a good vid...but the spring slows things down timing wise...only person that bags on Tubbs is Slash for some reason? I use them in most all of my 308's ...thay are worth the money...laRue  has the best price on them   Wash

I have been experienced... Long Wong's. Zombie, Volcanic,Ghost,Nuclear and a few other really hot wings but that doesn't mean much. Ron and Matt need to burn !
