Guys, upon leaving my old job, the boys threw me a party, and an old friend was there. Long story short, his woodworking hobby is kicked up a notch, several actually! He has been doing Cnc carvings from images and turning them to life!

Here's a picture I gave him of my wife and I in Breckinridge CO. The following sequence is raw, stained, and then semi finished. He said there is still some left to do, but it'll give you an idea of what he does. If you're interested, contact me and I will put you in touch with him. Heather looks damn good in that wood-pic, but Greg...  Bro, you've got a bunch of lines in your face or something...  <lmao>

Everyone's a joker, ha ha.... My ugly mug is well known to foul up group photos, and yet I'm still required to do it!

It is a very unique piece, and when I pick it up I'll ask more about the process

I'm just wondering if that alters the wood in some way, or if there's a chemical treatment process that's applied to it.

I'd hate for Heather to want to burn half of that thing later, and the wood won't light!  <dontknow> <laughs> <lmao>

You know when someone says, "it ain't half bad."

Well in this case... half of it is bad.

Maybe Heather can hang something on the right... We can't hope for termites, I hear even they have some taste.

You're kidding right? You guys shit is bouncing off like fucking pebbles on a golem! 8% body fat now putting up 305 on the bench, albeit 3 times, ain't bad for a skinny whop. I'll take that rope and drag all your sorry asses down the street!

Back on subject, it gets milled, stained, and the he uses 600 and 1000 grit to lighten up the wood.
