Last two days de-primed, tumbled and sized 1600+- rounds of 40 S&W brass, bad case of Rock Chucker elbow.

I can imagine!   I think you just beat one of @MikedaddyH's records...   :laffs:

Get a Dillon! Just think, with a Dillon you would have had 1600+ rnds of loaded ammo for the same effort!

Thought about it for several years just have never pulled the trigger. When your retired a single stage gives plenty to do on these cold days!

Just knocked out 1000 rounds of 9mm on the big blue, little over 2 hrs. Spent 1/2 hr troubleshooting the indexing system first, getting worn out after a couple million rounds. Recess with the spring and detent ball was getting a little oversized, shimmed it true. Get a call into Dillon, bet they will send me a new head no questions asked. Even If I have to pay, still best press out there. Bought it new in 1996 +/-

Rock Chuckers are a more recent addition.

DirtBike Tommy just picked up a Dillon 550, and he's just CRANKING out 9mm this weekend.  I fully prepped 876 5.56 cases today on a single-stage, and I'm about all in...   :laffs:

I either need to spring for a turret press, or a progressive, sometime soon...   :bitchslap:

Still haven't started reloading, but did buy a tv & get it hung yesterday in the gun room.

That counts in my book.

Looks like a good start.  I like your mounting plate for the press.  I used a Lee quick change plate for a while but changed to a In-Line Fab. raised quick change mount a few years ago.  I still don't know if I really like how high it is.  Wish my workbench looked as neat as yours.

Processed 1500 rounds of once fired RP 223 over the last week or so... Last batch in the vibratory cleaning the lube off now.

Ready for primers, powder and pills.

Something like this? I was debating getting one. My table is geared/adjustable height from 2.3' to 3.5' elevation so I can make any height if want. Was curious if the stand increases stability?

Lonewolf  That is it except I have the quick change top plate.  I have a Rock Chucker, Redding T-7. and Lee Classic Turret presses. Each on a quick change plates.  Two wing nuts and I can swap any press I want.  I store the presses under the center of my work bench.  That T-7 is getting very heavy now that am well into my 70's.  I need to trim 200 more 5.56 cases then bevel the mouths, prime, charge, and seat the bullets and will have 500 loaded rounds.  I will get my LC 7.62 once fired brass the middle of next week and start on them.  Boy, retirement is a lot of work.

Good work, brother - I've been doing the same with all my mixed 5.56 brass over the last week.  I primed them all tonight, until I ran out of brass to prime.  1,116 primers used, brass ready for powder-and-ball now.  Took a little under 3 hours for it all.

This is the harder part of our job - reloading is great, for price, especially now - but time is money.  I need a Dillon 550 or 650 for this bulk stuff...   I'll probably end up with the Hornady Ammo Plant, as I look at all this stuff...

The 223 runs nice through the 650, Data 2200 meters as well in the press' powder measure as the electronic measure and 10x faster. The R-P brass primes like butter, even with Wolf primers. Ran some civilian FC couple weeks ago reamed the pockets lightly,  and after 15-20 rounds dumped them out of the case feeder and reamed them again hard.

OH....  The stand is ROCK SOLID.  Love it, just may be a few inches to tall on my work bench,  I am about 5' 8'' and have a tall stool with a Craftsman work bench.  It is kinda tall.

You may have to pull a pair of your old platform shoes out of the closet 🤣

I almost forgot about my platform shoes.  They are long gone along with my long hair.  😁😁😁

Yep, they suck more than anything else out there.  There's almost no way around cutting those primer crimps out, no matter what.  3 twists with a VLD neck chamfer/reamer kills them in an instant, and primers go in easy after that - instead of getting mangled.
