I thought everyone here was shooting at ranges like this?:I'm only running my vortex pst ffp 6.5-24x50, Jp match barrel and 2 stage trigger. I think if I practice my breathing I'll get them tighter

I pulled out a similar 1" grid sighting target. I took measurements based on the 175gr pattern and it was about 2.25" max group (at 800m).

800m = 874.89 yards

Simple math is 2.25/8.75 = .25714 MOA at 100 yards

So barely over 1/4" MOA from a semi-automatic!

That is unbelievable. The military standard for the M110 is 1.1 MOA

I'm sorry ed, it's just hard, although not impossible for someone who's as new to this type of shooting to go out and bang a winning lottery ticket like that, especially after looking at your 100 yard target, at 800 yards. Seems highly suspect. What you are claiming, if true, should be getting you more sponsors than a nascar team

Well quite frankly yes. And that is still hard to believe going back and reading your old posts. Sorry. To many questions you should've already known to be that good

A ranger sniper found to possess such a weapon and such skills to shoot 2.25" groups at 800m would only be found on a (winning) Army competitive team and on the training course.

All the more reason to question the veracity of this range report.  I usually don't care about fish stories and tall tales, but this is almost insulting and not in a funny way.  Sir, you may be one helluva shot and I won't take that a way from you, but I do not believe this occurred at that distance.  I am sorry, but it just didn't.  Even if you were capable of the accuracy, there is a great chance, the rifle isn't.

Ok ok I don't want to start offending people, I was just poking some fun stirring it up a bit. Yeah a ranger sniper on call of duty ;) I have had some good laughs. The range is 91 meters

2.25" group at 91 meters!

You suck!

(not because of the 2.25" group, but for your joke)

awww... and I totally sh*t myself when I pulled this one at 200 yards (175gr reloads). Never could repeat it

If you could do what you did at 800m, I'd be super jelly.
