You're right.  That damn thing won't be finished until there's a 300BLK EOTech sitting on it - in Cerakote Snow White.  :rant2:

Nice job Tom, I like that! <thumbsup>

Uh...............are we gonna have to start a 'White Rifle' section now? <dontknow>

I have definitely tried to steer this train off the tracks before, and been promptly accused of it...  <laughs>

See below...

You do know , that if you get much more pink on that rifle , you will have to start a new topic in the PINK rifles section, not the Black rifles section. <lmao>

Thank ya, fellas, thank ya.  But it's not finished yet.  Not until I get the furniture, some small parts, and one magazine sprayed.  She's been dying to have that thing setup like that since she swiped this edition of Recoil mag:

Painting again tonight, men!

I'm going to see what happens to air-dry Cerakote when you bake it afterwards...  <dontknow> <thumbsup>

Experimental Discovery - you can use Cerakote C-Series (air dry) on your stuff, and you can bake it at low temps.  Perfect for plastics, woods, non-metal parts, etc.  Baked some tonight at 170 degrees for 3 hours.  Take parts out, let them cool, assembly immediately.  Like, right now.  Stuff is harder than woodpecker lips.  :hethan:

And where are the photo's of these paint jobs ?

Right here, brother - I'm calling this one finished, minus rezeroing the sights now.  It'll end up with the 300BLK EOTech on it eventually.

Cerakote Snow White H-Series bake on, and Tactical Gray C-Series air dry.  Baked the airdry anyway.  All the now-gray parts were prepped as follows:

1.  Fully disassembled and soaked in Denatured Alcohol for 10~15 minutes.

2.  Racked/hung in the oven at 170 degrees for 30 minutes for the gas-out.

3.  Painted, allowed to hang for 30 minutes.

4.  Baked at 170 degrees for 3 hours.

5.  Reassembled directly after cooling.

Can't even tell it was done in the house, guys.  No stinking up the house, no residual smell, nothing.  Dirk, you could pull this while Dusty was at work, and she wouldn't even know you'd done it.  <thumbsup>

Make sure you clean your oven really, really well before you do this - if it's all nasty inside, that's gonna be in the heat when your parts are cooking.  Clean your ovens!!!
