planeflyer21
That was an awesome video! Being a former SEAL who kicked an officer's ass, then downgraded to ship's cook, I can totally related to being pissed at these... Oh wait. That was Steven Seagal. Seriously though...where are all the cooks, the supply clerks, administrative assistants, large vehicle mechanics?
blue109
I have a buddy who takes every word of "training" he gets as gospel. he just did some 2 hr seminar on low light training, and decided to sell his viridian laser/light combo units because the instructor preferred to use a hand held light. anybody want a good deal on a Viridian X5L? My 45# Indian Archery recurve still seems to drop them...must be the .45acp of the bow world.

Tripledeuce
To my everlasting shame, I was never allowed to enter the armed services. I tried to enlist back in '66, and was told my hearing was so bad, it would endanger my fellow squad mates. I tried the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and National Guard. All turned me down. I would love to be able to salute the flag, and other vetrans, but cannot. My greatest respect to all the vetrans out there. Terry

AdamO
Haha... yeah. All of my 'tacticool' training involved was what little bit (and I do mean little) I got out of "Chair Force" basic training. That and we qualified one a year on the M16 (which I never even got to fire in 'fun' mode) BUT, I was a badass at radio repair! Haha! On the other hand... if the nuclear apocalypse ever happens and you need someone to set up a longwire because HF is the only survivable mode of comms then Im your guy! :) Edited August 14, 2014 by AdamO
warthog984
I met a Navy Seal a couple years ago. Or so he said. In Vietnam he did recon. He said his job was to blow poop up. Cool job. The stories where always different. One day he was slashing Charlies throat like Rambo. Next day he was killing people with a single round house kick like Chuck Norris. He had issues. Long story short there is a website for checking these clowns. Also look at the Stolen Valor Act.
98Z5V
I need to bump this, to include F-Class SuperHeroes. And HRT. (added at Stain's request...). F-Class guys seem to think they're right up there with the TWELVE-SANDWICH-EATIN-MOTHERFUCKERS. <dontknow> HRT is up there - if they're really HRT. <thumbsup>

Eat that! <laughs> :yup: THAT is so phuckin' bad ass, facilities management had airport police escort me off the field when I challenged them "Too big a female cat to do cat launches on a 737?! Whatsa matter? Your MOMMY won't let you play with big-boy toys?!" About time I release MY special forces book on launch/recovery, "300 Feet of Hot Steaming Grease". F-14s were the worst...extend your arms all the way up and PUSH! Okay...now see if you can line it up properly.
