This article has validity here - I'm just sayin'.

We've seen a bunch of this lately, I think.  I may never know, for real

http://www.recoilweb.com/poseurs-who-teach-48245.html

If you really are a HALO-SCUBA-RANGER-SPECIAL FORCES-PATHFINDER-SWAT-JUMPMASTER-SEAL-FORCE RECON-PJ-SNIPER-BORTAC-TACP-BADASS AIR ASSAULT-FAST ROPE MASTER-US MARSHALL-TWELVE SANDWICH EATIN', KNUCKLE-DRAGGIN' MOTHERFUCKER...

Then we'd love to have you here.  Make note of your past accomplishments and qualifications in your Intro thread, or shortly after arrival here.

If you are NOT that, don't be bringing up your NAVSPECWAR experience later, just to shine someone on a little...

I'm just sayin'...

That was an awesome video!

Being a former SEAL who kicked an officer's ass, then downgraded to ship's cook, I can totally related to being pissed at these...

Oh wait.  That was Steven Seagal.

Seriously though...where are all the cooks, the supply clerks, administrative assistants, large vehicle mechanics?

I have a buddy who takes every word of "training" he gets as gospel. he just did some 2 hr seminar on low light training, and decided to sell his viridian laser/light combo units because the instructor preferred to use a hand held light.

anybody want a good deal on a Viridian X5L?

I've got a buddy who's like that with hunting wastes a lot of money..

he just spent full retail on 3 of them, around 350 each, and is trying to sell them around 220. had them a matter of months. he went to a prepper fest where some guy convinced him his brand new eotech 512 with qd and lenses covers is no good and he needed an aimpoint so on the chopping block for 375. then he tries to convince everyone around him why he is right.

Who doesn't?!

As far as hunting, the archers are the ones that get me...have to have the latest PSE or newest Matthews, because it's 12fps faster.

My 45# Indian Archery recurve still seems to drop them...must be the .45acp of the bow world.

To my everlasting shame, I was never allowed to enter the armed services.

I tried to enlist back in '66, and was told my hearing was so bad, it would endanger my fellow squad mates.  I tried the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and National Guard.   All turned me down.

I would love to be able to salute the flag, and other vetrans, but cannot.

My greatest respect to all the vetrans out there.

Haha... yeah. All of my 'tacticool' training involved was what little bit (and I do mean little) I got out of "Chair Force" basic training.

That and we qualified one a year on the M16 (which I never even got to fire in 'fun' mode)

BUT, I was a badass at radio repair! Haha!

On the other hand... if the nuclear apocalypse ever happens and you need someone to set up a longwire because HF is the only survivable mode of comms then Im your guy! :)

I met a Navy Seal a couple years ago.  Or so he said.  In Vietnam he did  recon.  He said his job was to blow poop up.  Cool job.  The stories where always different.  One day he was slashing Charlies throat like Rambo.  Next day he was killing people with a single round house kick like Chuck Norris.  He had issues.  Long story short there is a website for checking these clowns.  Also look at the Stolen Valor Act.

  • 4 weeks later...

I need to bump this, to include F-Class SuperHeroes.

And HRT. (added at Stain's request...).

F-Class guys seem to think they're right up there with the TWELVE-SANDWICH-EATIN-MOTHERFUCKERS.  <dontknow>

HRT is up there - if they're really HRT.  <thumbsup>

Hey now I could move a harrier or helicopter down in the hanger bay in rolling seas without putting a scratch on them. Lets see you tier 1 operators do that  :P

Ppffftt!

I could get horizontal take-off aircraft from 0mph to 160mph in 1.5 seconds, and from 130mph to ZERO in 2 seconds. HA!  Eat that!  <laughs>  :yup:

THAT is so phuckin' bad ass, facilities management had airport police escort me off the field when I challenged them "Too big a female cat to do cat launches on a 737?!  Whatsa matter?  Your MOMMY won't let you play with big-boy toys?!"

About time I release MY special forces book on launch/recovery, "300 Feet of Hot Steaming Grease".

Oh yea, but without me and the fastest tow tractor on the ship you would never make it to the cat.  :catfight:  <laughs>  <lmao>

Did plenty of push-backs with pilots that can't follow directions.  F-14s were the worst...extend your arms all the way up and PUSH!  Okay...now see if you can line it up properly.
