Hey guys.  Someone from my local shooting forum recommended this place, so I checked it out.  You all seem pretty cool, so I signed up.

I recently bought a PA-10 lower to go with my DPMS Sportical upper, resulting in the beastie you see here.  I have only put about a hundred rounds through her so far, but plan for many, many more as I tweak her and learn how she runs best.

I've added a Nikon P308 4-12x40 scope and a Geissele G2S trigger thus far.  Soon I'll be adding a free float handguard and a bipod, hoping to improve long range accuracy for hunting predators, deer and possibly antelope.  Mostly I need to tweak the nut behind the trigger.

I'm sure you guys will have plenty of other suggestions for ways to spend money on her.   :)

Thanks guys.  I read a lot more than I post, but I've already got a bunch of questions.  I'll do my best to find the answers if they are here, but hopefully you won't beat me up too bad for the occasional noob question.

Welcome to the forums. We only bust the balls of the ones we love, and you can take that to the bank. (or put it on a bumper sticker)

If that were accurately represented... we have a couple common law marriages now... and I think unforgiven and R2 are expecting??

I know I sure hell owe a few guys dinner and a movie...

Lulling newcomers into a false sense of security is SOP now, just doing my part. :D

Welcome aboard - there's a metric $hit-ton of us here from AZ (we really run this place, despite all the grumbles from non-AZ'ers  <lmao>).

Phx is big, 60 miles across - where in PHX are you?  NE, SW, Snott'sDale, etc.  Give us an idea, and we can arrange a link-up and shoot.  I have a secret desert test facility south of the city.

I'm just a mile or so west of Deer Valley Airport.

We - collectively - gather a few times a year at Marana Shooting Club, once in awhile at Casa Grande Shooting Range, and in n undisclosed location southwest of Ak-Chin Indian Reservation.  We have a couple BIG shoots a year, often drawing in The Californian, into the free land.  People have come from as far as KAN-tucky, Massachussetts, NorCal, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and JAPAN...  Not a typo.

The further away someone comes from, the bigger the events.  Anytime an East-Coaster rolls through town, that triggers The Californian into a road trip, too.  That NorCal guy needs to make more trips, though.  I'm just sayin'...

If we Go Big, you don't want to miss it.  Call in sick for work...   <lmao>
