shepp
just found out that a man who had treated us like family every year at deer camp passed away today. His name was Mike Brennan, and served as Chicago PD in the 70's then moved to a small town in northern Wisconsin serving as a sheriff deputy and maybe sheriff (I forget if it was he or his son). He also owned the bar we stopped in to tell our stories from the woods and listen to his old cop storied from Chicago. So tonight I raise a shot of Tullamore Dew to you Mike, till we met again

I believe we tipped a few at his place. My buddy with a place outside Glidden is in Florida for a few months. When I talk to him I will let him know. A neat area, like going back to the 1950's. His place was "Brennan's greenbrier" right next to the fire station. best juke box in the Northwoods, I don't think it had changed since 1978.
