Just joined the forum!

just finished my first .308 AR build and love it!

heavy, but shoots very well!

i used aero precision parts for most of it, then added an adjustable gas block, a monopod, bipod and a sweet suppressor!

look forward to haunting the forum

Thanks!!

i got "sick" of 5.56 ar's and decided to wade in the 7.62x51 waters!

this was also my first use of a vortex scope!

they make some nice stuff!

this originally started as a pig build for my lovely bride, but it came together so well I may not give it back!!!

the suppressor is a 762-ad and very effective!

i am totally sold on suppressors and bought a bunch of the before the new rules went into effect.

bought some in calibers I don't even own .... YET!!!

thanks for the welcome!!

Welcome from Wisconsin. Envious you have pigs to hunt. Wolves and Bear take any that get out up here.

And we can't stack them like cord wood! Wonder how pigs and wolves would mingle

welcome from the southern part of Wisconsin

You gotta get that scope and mount more forward - that eye relief can't be any good.

Eye relief is perfect.

it was way too far forward ar first.

full sight picture where it is.

originally I found myself "climbing up the stick" to get a full sight picture.

Welcome aboard! Great lookin' build.

I'm down in Chickasha -- it's good to see another Okie around here...

If you're interested in pigs, I've got some good leads on places down around Rush Springs and Elmore City.

Now that there's a good gun to be cleaning when your daughter's first date comes to pick her up.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome Larry Q... you've found the best forum ever..us Californians love our Okie brothers back east..both my parents were born there...one from Ada an the other from Albion..came to Cal in '20's just like the grapes of wrath..

That sure is a nice build there brother..wish we had gun laws that allow suppressors..
