What did you find under your tree this this year?

I must have been a good boy this year, the wife gave me several items I can really use.

A Gerber Center drive multi-tool, a Mirage Abatement Device from Black Hills Gear (suppressor cover), and three nice items from Beachin Tactical, Speed Sling, belt lanyard, and a mini fire starter kit. Except for the Gerber everything was Veteran made making the gifts just a little more special!

Lol, poor Shepp! Talon grips for my duty weapon. A large quantity of gift certificates to G Code, my go to for holsters, for a range belt set up. Also scored a quarter turn TWM gas cap for the motorcycle and brake fluid reservoir cover.

Not a lot thankfully. Less stuff to pack when I move. Got a couple hundred rounds of 175 FGMM and 600 rounds of red and green tipped Merry Christmas 22 LR. Some work gloves and some drill bits.

oh yeah...a camouflage bug-a-salt.

I received a few lottery tickets, I got back 10 bucks of the 20 my wife spent on them.

My wife got a pair of Uggs and a pair of slippers.

My my boy got a Roybi 18 volt tool set and some jeans.

Other than that we all got fatter with a great meal.

This is year has been a difficult year for my family, my wife's baby brother died in June from an Anyerism (sp?). He was 43 and otherwise in great health.  He always came over to our house for the holidays and ate with us. He would arrive early enough to mash the potatoes and make conversation.  We set a place for him at the table for Christmas (and Thanksgiving). He is dearly missed

Christmas was a little easier than Thanksgiving was and we are ready for 2017 to be over.

Sorry I don't mean to bring anyone down.

On on the bright side, my Odin works 6.5 Creedmoor barrel came in the 23rd and I was able to put it together and sight it in on Christmas Eve.

Rather than get "stuff", I like to make memories, so I got a couple of cool presents for my family. My youngest daughter had asked to get her concealed carry permit, so I bought her a CCW class. My wife loves boats, so I bought a ride on the restored PT305! When the weather warms up a bit, we'll take the trip. Should be a blast!

Nice MM. dsdm, hang in there brother and I am sorry for your loss. I didn’t really want anything-so I was happy with some shirts I got. Going to start getting rid of extra stuff I decided, get life uncluttered.

Wife told me "Order your Christmas presents, I don't have time!" She's been busy as hell with the new Cath Lab. I went to Midway and got me a set of 9mm dies and a 308AR magwell vise block. Not that big of a deal for us nowadays, like my wife says "When we need or want something we just buy it. Not much we can get each other for Christmas because of that."

Pretty much the same here brother. That's why the priority was just for the kids and the grandkids. Ahh....a grandpa's life ain't cheap or easy is it? :lmao:
