JF89 Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 I am a Jameson and Redbreast fan myself. How about you guys? I have been really tempted to add more high quality bourbon to my whiskey collection but have yet to do so ,outside of a bunch of wild turkey. @Robert@FULL30 was the one encouraged me to look int wild turkey but he recommends it by the gallon lol
Armed Eye Doc Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 I like wild turkey as well. I just picked up a Texas whiskey that is really good.

edgecrusher Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 Angels Envy is a very good whiskey for the price point
Robert@FULL30 Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 Whisky is easy for me, Things to qualify: Glass Bottle Wood Cork Kentucky on the label Wild Turkey is my go to, go to liquor store, go to bourbon isle, go to top shelf, go to the cashier, go home and enjoy And, you can light up a camp fire with it or add it to your fuel tank if your not going to get your bike home with the near empty tank you have (so I imagine)
392heminut Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 Jameson, preferably Jameson Caskmates, the Stout Edition.

Was in a store in Chicago yesterday called binny’s “if it’s not at binny’s, it’s not worth drinking”. Think home town grocery store but all beer wine booze and cigars. Anyway the guy behind me bought a case of the JW black, sign said it was 55$ a bottle

Robocop1051 Posted November 26, 2018 Report Posted November 26, 2018 750ml vs 1.75 L That's a "fifth" vs a "handle".
Armed Eye Doc Posted January 19, 2019 Report Posted January 19, 2019 We are at a Texas distillery for Balcones. There are some that I like but the rye isn't one of them.
Sisco Posted January 19, 2019 Report Posted January 19, 2019 This place has quality beverages. http://www.vikredistillery.com/

The doc does fancy math and uses the metric system, and Robocop 'splains it in words we can all relate to...
DNP Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 My second grader showed his work.... 1.75 x 1000 = 1750 1750 - 750 = 1000 1000 / 1000 = 1 looks like doc was right. He worked it out another way, but just as you are right now....I lost interest.
DNP Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 Ok I had to check. About .007 cents per ml is the other difference.
Robocop1051 Posted January 22, 2019 Report Posted January 22, 2019 I crushed a fifth of Jameson here in Vegas yesterday.... I’ve been deleting the pictures from my phone all day today.
