Yeah, this comes out crispy and delicious. Cook it at 275. Takes 40-50 minutes at that temp depending on the cuts.

Well since I’m broke after my road trip I’m in freezer raiding mode

pulled pork butt, black beans and pinto beans, green chili’s. 1 cup of water and some corn flour to thicken over rice topped with chorizo and salsa verde

Sounds like a south Texas dish. Hopefully you not be up all night with the salsa and chorizo.

I make Chori Pollo a lot, very similar.Thin chicken strips, good chorizo, onion, black beans, green chilis, with ancho and chipolte chili powder, adobo, cumin,  over rice, or with the black beans on the side. Topped with salsa con queso. Wife would just as soon have it every night. Looks good Shepp.

Let me know what you think and if I should add anything,  quarter 2 rabbits and 2 pheasants, salt and pepper, brown in a skillet, take out and put on a plate, then saute onions, clove of garlic, and green peppers in the pan, put all back together in a crock pot, with a cup of bird dog PEACH flavored whiskey alone with some sliced peaches, add a cup of water and cook for 4 hrs. serve over a bed of rice, what do you think??????

I miss rabbit, my old man and I used to run beagles on rabbits as a kid. I’m real good at de cocking a hammer gun due to rabbit hunting too. After I got good with my 12 ga the old man gave me my grandpas 28 ga single shot. Group of my buddies were gonna get together and try running some rabbits last winter but we had shit for snow, really wish I had a beagle or two to run some rabbit.
