Any of you know how long 3 in one oil  has been around, and what 3 in one means?

Well It has been around as long as the Winchester model 1894 .30 30  (1894) and the label means,

(1) Lubricates, 

(2) Prevents rust

(3) Cleans

I have been using it since I was knee high to a pup and now the Brand 3 in one is owned by

WD 40 , San Diego, Ca.
