5150k9
Just ordered Luth AR's 308 buffer tube kit and MBA-2. I plan on ordering some tungsten carbide weights to replace the stock buffer weights (along with a heavy buffer spring, of course), but I can't get the link y'all gave me to work on my phone. Oh yeah, and a set of Armalite's universal upper vise blocks. I have that set up on my 308 AR, your gonna love it, considering its half the cost of the Magpul. Nice company to deal with. ridurall
Even though the first thing I did when I purchased my new Windham Hunter .308 AR was to change out the charging handle lever for an extended one. I noticed the Group-Buy Sale through here for the TacOps-Sniper extended charging handle for AR10 from <a data-ipb="nomediaparse" data-cke-saved-href="http://mechdefense.com/products/308ar-com-group-buy-sale%20%C2%A0For%20$49%20rather%20than%20the%20normal%20price%20of%20$68.%20%C2%A0This%20one%20has%20not%20only%20the%20extended%20lever%20on%20the%20left%20but%20it%20has%20a%20thumb%20engagement%20portion%20of%20the%20lever%20and%20extended%20handle%20on%20the%20right%20side%20to%20make%20using%20it%20much%20easier%20with%20a%20scope.%20%C2%A0Since%20I" href="http://mechdefense.com/products/308ar-com-group-buy-sale%20%C2%A0For%20$49%20rather%20than%20the%20normal%20price%20of%20$68.%20%C2%A0This%20one%20has%20not%20only%20the%20extended%20lever%20on%20the%20left%20but%20it%20has%20a%20thumb%20engagement%20portion%20of%20the%20lever%20and%20extended%20handle%20on%20the%20right%20side%20to%20make%20using%20it%20much%20easier%20with%20a%20scope.%20%C2%A0Since%20I" m%20running%20a%20burris%20xtr3-12x50%20scope%20that%20is%20fairly%20close%20to%20the%20rear%20of%20the%20stock%20this%20should%20be%20handy.%c2%a0"="">http://mechdefense.com/products/308ar-com-group-buy-sale For $49 rather than the normal price of $68. This one has not only the extended lever on the left but it had a thumb engagement portion of the lever and extended handle on the right side to make using it much easier with a scope. Since I'm running a Burris XTR3012X50 Scope that is fairly close to the rear of the stock this should be handy. ridurall
I'm impressed with the owner of mecdefense.com He called me first thing this morning to talk to me about what type of AR .308 I had to make sure what I was ordering would work properly. Good customer service. This is why I ordered it so I can more easily handle the charging handle from either side. upload image online

ridurall
Yea they're real good people! I love my handle I can pull it back with one finger gloved in 20* weather I had it in my possession in 3 days and it works perfectly. I thought the extended charging handle that I first put on it was pretty good but http://mechdefense.c...-group-buy-sale has it beat hands down. Right or left handed it works easier than any brand charging handle I've ever used. I must say great company with better customer service from the original order where he called me to make sure he sent the exact charging handle that would work best in my rifle.
