Why?...because it suks...and not because im just an ol fuddyduddy either..I can move with the groove...I can adapt..I can go with the flow .... the way the layout is reminds me of the 90's type layouts...go to most any other site and you prolly wont see this crappy format...you will see the format we did have...but not now...Hell if it takes donations to get this site back on track ill be the first to pony up...I fear that this could be the undoing of our home... guruofhotrod Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 (edited) Yea, I miss the old layout - and 98! on another note, with the exception of Lucky Gunner the advertisers on the right side of the home page all seem to link to Brownells even Tactical Machining - I know that used to link directly to TM's website (obviously the Brownells & Sinclair should go to their respective pages) also Slashes Buffers, ATC, BAD and Hiperfire also links to Brownells - anyone know if this is intended to be that way? bubbas4570 Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 It looks the same on mobile, except the *new*posts are brought up differently. They are almost in a RSS feed or something. That is not the same for me, and I cannot get it back to the way it was. This way I am shown every new post, not just the new threads that have posts in them. There is a long listing of posts this way, and if I am not on WIFI at home, it does take more time/data to wade through it. This is why I voted for "suks"....
shepp Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 Ok I found something that's pissing me off, and it's happened before but it's not as easy to remedy. in the grilling thread for example I quoted hoff, he replied I went to reply and his quote and my text from my last post are in the reply box. Before easy enough select all delete, well you can't do that anymore the reply box stays. What I been doing its posting it then deleting my post then replying again. What a pain in the ass!!
