Then decided I wanted to build one. My son in law gave me a complete PA10 upper to start. Now I’m finding out the “AR10” platform isn’t as standardized as the AR15. I’m having difficulty trying to determine which upper I have (gen1,2 or3). Just want to get correct lower. shooterrex Posted March 23, 2021 Report Share Posted March 23, 2021 Get a PSA lower. Doesn't matter what Gen it will fit. That upper will not fit anyone else's lower that is known. Their take down pins are also different. I have 2 PSA's . A rifle and pistol in 308. I built the pistol and the only parts that are PSA are the upper and lower receivers.
