Dumb question for most of you here. Is the plastic spacer on the rear of the buffer tube inside the factory A2 stock NOT needed when replacing with the Magpul MOE Rifle stock? I couldn't get the new stock to fully seat with the spacer, seemed to require eliminating it. Instructions did NOT make any mention of the spacer.

I don't run an MOE stock on anything. But my guess would be no, you don't need it. Especially if the new stock won't fit on there without removing it.

They call that in police work.....a clue. :lmao:

The MP MOE stock is A1-length, so shitcan the 5/8" A2 spacer, and get the A1-length vented screw - the longer A2 vented screw will DEFINITELY stop your buffer travel when firing.  You can cut the A2 screw down to size with a Dremel cut off wheel, too.

Had some fun with the AR10 & Strelok app  groundhog hunting today.. Got 5 out of 6 hogs from 167yds out to 463yds. All fields were not cut yet to shoot out farther. Little bastards were playing Wack A Mole, no time to even get a bead on half the ones spotted. All in all a good day & broke the AR10's virginity drawing lots of blood!

Had fun, hopefully the rest is cut by Saturday for the next trip out. Only unnerving thing was hearing the sad sound of "$2" with every pull of the trigger lol

Meh..you is rich, you could shoot a 1000 rounds at that price and never know it.

Was a little afraid the mil dot reticle was going to be an issue on  ground hogs at a distance (Too large,  impeded view) . @ 500 yards it was not, hopefully I can check beyond that distance this weekend.  What reticles do you fellas use/like out far for more precise targeting?
