MLC Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 I'm finally all done after getting the lower over 2 years ago and buying like a madman over the last few months. Just needs the gas tube rollpin put in and comp timed. Nice!! What handguard are you using?
jrtMA Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Nice!! What handguard are you using?http://www.seekinsprecision.com/parts-and-accessories/handguards/mcsr-rail.htmlMatching Seekins Precision 15 inch MCSR V2 M-Lok hanguard. My goal was to cover as much of the barrel as possible and it did exactly that. I'm very happy with it and it's pretty light even though the overall build is not ultralight.
arcangel167 Posted December 8, 2015 Report Posted December 8, 2015 Finished this one several months ago but haven't had a chance to break it in...

arcangel167 Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Ya, the scope is pretty badass...and barely legal in Cali! That's not the biggest pineapple I've bagged, got a 36 point 1200 pounder late last year... ?

blue109 Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 Very nice! A1s don't really speak to me, but I want to do an A2. I have a FN upper and surplus stock and handguards in the parts pile.
Gator Monroe Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 Thanx Blue , My HBAR M16A2 clone is my go to SHTF Rifle (The Retro CAR15 /XM 16E1 clone is my Tactical Carbine fighting Class rifle even though in pic it's configured in Rimfire.)

Never did find a use for the carry handle though, if you carry that way you are flagging your buddies all the time.
Gator Monroe Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 All my orientation & original Fun with AR pattern weapons was in the mid 70s to mid 80s so we did not know from Flat Top back then , I'm just a purist as far as the Stoner designs go ...
unforgiven Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 Looking at you'r collection would they not be illegal in California? Mag release doesn't look like the reqired release.
Gator Monroe Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) All bullet button equipped (With preban Riveted or 10/20 magazines) only one AR pattern is configured Rimfire thus no bullet button and Shorter OAL allowed ... (The Centerfire AK has 10 Rounder and AK style bullet button) Edited April 24, 2016 by Gator Monroe
washguy Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 So what popgun do you take on your militia maneuvers with you ? Wash
jtallen83 Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 Let's not paint all militia members with a broad brush. It has been a long time effort of the government and the MSM to make all militia members fit a certain stereotype that is less than flattering. This couldn't be further from the truth. Militias were an integral part of this country's birth and may be what preserves Liberty for her. With militia training being a felony in Iowa I can't speak to my home state but in my travels I have met many more squared away, true American militia members than I have kook wannabe types by at least a 20-1 margin. The true patriots don't draw negative attention to their units.
washguy Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 Jt I wasnt painting anything at all Just asking a simple question as to which popgun he uses on militia weekends.... Wash
jtallen83 Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Doubt he belongs to a serious militia..........guess I should check the rolls. Thank God he isn't on the rolls! Edited April 24, 2016 by jtallen83 Checked to make sure gatorboy isn't in the cali group
