Speaking as a current engineer...
management has moved the hydraulic pump three times in the past week and a half.
They've made the lines twice as long and put the pump in position that just in case it springs a leak it it might be able to act as an afterburner.

It's usually management or marketing that demands the engineering be upside down and backassward. Sometimes the customer is in there also.

I found my convection oven will do the same thing and work as well as my air fryer if I use a rack.So I gave it to my son. Have started using it in the winter instead of setting up the deep fryer outside for a fish fry. It is almost as good and a lot less mess.

A convection oven is the prototype to the airfryer.
My convection microwave from 1992 finally gave up the ghost right after I bought a stand alone air fryer.
A couple weeks later I picked up a microwave air fryer.
Two months later the stand alone air fryer was recalled.

Going the Steve Jobs route. “We need it to do a million different things, but look pretty and fit into that matchbox over there.”  Engineers: “That’s not even close to possible”. Steve: “You guys are the brightest and the best.  I know you can do it.”  Engineers: “We’ll try”. Steve: “Have it ready by Tuesday….I want to show it to people.”

And in the case of your pump, who WOULDN’T want and afterburner?!

Always unplug mine. Air Fryers are notorious for reacting to power surges by turning on. Been a number of fires due to that.

Unplug EVERYTHING, if you're not using it.  It's always sucking energy, if you don't.  Beside, if you DON'T unplug it, it'll turn into that nast little fucker Nokia phone from Transformers, and KEEL YOU....

For what it's worth, the Australian girl in the original Transformers movie is the hottest chick on the planet.  By Far.

Looked outside a little bit ago. All 3 pyrs were killing this groundhog.

After it was dead Tucker took it from the other two. He is just setting out there with his prize growling at the other dogs when they come close.

My Pyr just mixed it up with a flock of wild turkeys. She is okay, fortunately. They are tough customers, even wolves leave them alone. They attack the eyes of adversaries. Pyrs just don’t have much fear, do they?

I had a Shepherd mix that went chasing a couple of wild turkeys.  I'm glad he was not able to catch them.

The only thing the female seems scared of is our cattle.

Tucker just doesn't quit no matter what..

T here had a lump on her liver so, we took her to a specialist that got her all cut up. Turns out it was benine.  She is 10 days in recovery and wants to join the pack again. But not yet. She has been my sidekick during recovery." Luckily" ( not so lucky) I sprained my ankle the first week of her recovery so I was home. She gets a check up Sunday.  I'm back to work and she is ready to play ball!  Dog insurance is a real thing. Her operation cost 10k$ we will pay 2k$ , but she lives a full life! Priceless!
