I have a couple 20 rounders but they're not the greatest for use with a bolt action. Too much tension fully loaded, causing difficulty clambering a round. 17 or less & it feeds smoothly. Belt Fed Posted August 19, 2021 Report Share Posted August 19, 2021 Yeah they are steel, back then that's all they had. mags work fine but the gun is horrible on accuracy. I haven't shot it much. i put a nice scope on it and was going to let the grandson hunt with it but after trying to sight it in i gave up on that idea.
