Shiit, that's even before A1, brother - that's M16 upper receiver.  No forward assist, no shell deflector.  That's a badass historical piece of hardware, right there.  I'd find a no-fence old lower, and build that thing into the XM177, with what's going on right there.  Even in 9mm.

i’m ordering some small parts and added one already, it was a whole $3. 
 

I had forgotten I needed an adapter for the large hole colt pin upper so another $3.

Got an EAA 1911A1 in 9mm on the way. Also enough Wilson Combat parts to change out the grip safety and install a commander hammer.

Yep - and I want to amend "The Rule", and putting that motion forward right now.  My amendment is simple = if you invoke the rule on someone, and they don't realize that it was a prank to try to GET someone to invoke "The Rule" - and you call the FOR "The Rule"...   they you must also nut up, and buy that product...
