Went to the range today. Put 300 rounds through my new Browning 1911-22. Gun shot great! Went to Denver last Nov. Went to Bass-Pro. They had Remington 22lr in 525 rnd boxes. Bought 10 boxes, should have bought 20. Terry

I'v always considered that having an "average" one years supply of everything, powder , primers, bullets was a good place to be. I date everything as it comes in with a magic marker, and keep things rotated. Respectfully Terry

I'm not so sure about that price. I'v only seen a few AR10's for sale locally, and they all have been the 2200-$2500 range, and sold basicly overnight, Respectfully Terry

As a gunsmith, I always thought that the Marlin levers were the BEST!!!! No sinter metal, or cast parts. If i were to et a lever 22, it would be an older Marlin. Respectfully Terry

In the 80's, I loaded several thousand rounds of shotshells for 45 ACP's. Had a special set of form dies from RCBS. Its lead, for gods sake with a 410 plastic wad !!! How can it cause un-due wear? Also loaded lots of .357 and 44 with Speer plastic shot capsules. Respectfully Terry

OK, so I found out I could use a DPMS bbl with a RRA bolt. Can anyone loan me a DPMS bolt for a couple of days, so I can see if I can fit one to a RR carrier and upper? I promise NOT to do any machining or alteration of the bolt! It will be returned in the same condition I get it in. I'll pay shipping both ways. PM me, please. I forgot!!!!! 308 size!LOL!! The gun laws passed the HOUSE, and must now pass the senate. Water is a big deal in Colorado! There have even been Water Wars!!!! The shooting type! Who has "First rights" to the water, who may have" junior rights" Who have no rights to water that may flow through thier property !!! All are very big deals! Right now, Colorado has more people that its water supply can support! With new people comming in every day. I have two irrigation ditches that run across my property. One I have rights to, one I do not. The "ditch rider" who has the control of all the water that flows through a certin set of ditches, wanted to fine me $500 because my horses were drinking out of the wrong ditch. I ended up fencing the ditch off, so my horses could no loner drink out of it. Texas is starting to look mighty good! Respectfully Terry

Gun Parts may have the breakdown, and maybe the parts. That gun was made in so many variations it can be hard to tell what5 you need, and what will fit. As far as "bolt action:, the operating handle slides in and out when in battery, to lock the bolt so you can fire not semi-auto. Respectfully Terry

To get a" mirror" finish will take a 1500=2,000 grit run @60rpm. And, at that, the chamber might be TO smooth! Rember, the shell has to "hold on" to the chamber when the rifle is first fired. Respectfully Terry

Rock River. Each bbl has a dedicated bolt, and carrier. I'm trying to find a bolt and carrier, or just a bolt for the 338 build. Terry

I usually just drop my Kimber ultra carry II in my boot top. or stick it through my belt @ my right kidney. Although, I do have a very old Bianchi #7 Shadow right hand belt holster for my full length 1911, and a El Paso saddlery Yaqui slide that fits either. OH! and a old Safariland horazontal shoulder holster that fits either. Respectfully Terry

Replace the sear, also. It was almost certinally affected when the hammer let go and was almost certinly stoned when the "trigger job" was done. Respectfully Terry
