That gun of yours is badass, brother.  What alot of people don't realize...  That cut-off Oxy tank is at 609 yards.  It's not tall, and it's skinny.  It's not easy to hit in daylight  - shiit, even when you know where it's at, it's hard to find in direct sunlight.  Now, the kicker...   55gr projectiles were never meant to go that far, even at an area target, much less a point target.  460 meters is the max effective range (point target, which is man-sized) for the M16A1 firing M193 ammo. 

If you have DOPE on some very good 75 or 77 gr ammo, and you switch over to 55gr range-trash ammo, obviously, your holds are gonna be different.  For the 450 target, I have to hold 500 to get the 55s there.  On that 609, you had to hold for 700 to get those 55s there.  That's a badass task to pull off.  You were crushing that thing...

For that mile shot, I'll set that up anytime it works for both of you, just let me know...   @Moon Boots and @blue109.  That's all we'll do.  I'll bring the gun, and ammo, and we do it until we all hit it. 

We already know the gun and load is capable of a one-and-done.  

I feel like I really need to rub that one in, deep, too...     I don't know if I can stop rubbing that one in...

You never know. Just get enough beers into him. Fair warning though, he drinks at the same pace and volume that I do. So it might take a while to get him to that point.

For the coin I'd spend on that, I'll buy a Barrett MRAD in .338 Lapua Mag first.  Once I've got the MRAD, I'll spring for the Noreen .300 Win Mag AR.  First, I need about 25 suppressors, though...  

We had a .300 Win Mag AR out there, but I can't remember if it was the Noreen or Nemo.  It wasn't running well, needs work.  It's a local buddy, and he's not listening to advice on how to get it running.  He was also shooting 150gr projectiles towards the mile target, and those things just cannot get it done.  They'd get about 2/3rds of the way there, and just dirt-pile.

Tough call, but I really want that MRAD bolt gun.  Years and years ago, I had a great deal on a Barrett 98B gun, grand off retail...   and 2012 happened.  I got my downpayment back and bought 3 more guns instead. 

That thing has been haunting me ever since, and I need one in my life...
