Finally got the GM going 5# 2 rib prime rib. 3 hrs. 225* with sweet potatoes internal temp 125* no flipping or turning,set and forget.

That flat iron for the Weber was a fail for us as it required a lot of fuel ( wood, charcoal) to cook a lot and we don't have the amount of people to cook for anymore.

Thanks brother I don't mind leftovers,the flattop seems to work best with gas NG or propane.

It’s been awhile…..

 

Grilled gulf shrimp tacos. With numerous toppings: Mexican sour crème, cabbage, avacado, lime and either peach salsa, salsa verde, or this creamy jalapeño cilantro sauce my new neighbor brought me.
