Hi

I enjoy  wood furniture. (Thanks Gene)  Classic lines.iron sights and the technical aspects

I have wood for you.  Lemme get it dug out, and I'll have modern pics for you.  Most of my pics of it are 10 years old, and hard to find here.  Wood, iron sights, and classic lines is what exactly made this gun, and no other gun I have can do what this one does. You might like it.

Welcome aboard, man.

I've got one in a wood stock,  plastic grip and an Alu float tube fore grip.  Feels good in the hand.

The second is all wood,  Tri-lobe fore grip.  Feels bulky ,  but looks nice.  Both rifle length.  20 inch barrels (as designed)

What's Genes outfit  "Blackgunswood.com"?    Yup!  That's it.  Nice stuff.

Website is still up - but are those even viable now?  Can you order them and get them, or is that website old and no longer functional - though it's still up?  Have you contacted them?

That's old-skool shiit, right there.  Call them on the phone. Like, dialing a real phone, and calling people.

Hi Everyone!

old Marine here lol Finally made the transition from M16/M4/AR15.

Free River Armory .308 in stealth grey. 18” barrel, magpul grip, magpul stock. Does need a adjustable gas block.

I put a set of HK diopter sights on the rifle until I decide one scope.
Any helpful advice is always welcome.

May I ask why an adjustable gas block is needed? Welcome to the forums, and thank you for your service.

Welcome from another Texas Older Brown Shoe Marine.

Older marine here.  I never made the transaction from M-14 to M-16 (boot camp 1960, got out in 1966)  Have Ruger Mini 14 since 1982.  Went to LR308 in 2014. Live in Comanche County on Lake Proctor.
