Oh yeah!!👍& good timing with possible food shortage looming

Ordered one a year and a half ago at the beginning of the pandemic, and ordered this one as soon as I received that one. Took this long to get the second one. Insurance for my extended family.

We have black Angus in the pasture. Just sold a year and a half old bull that would not stay in any fence if there were cows around. He fetched $1850.00.  He will make great steaks for someone.

Hate to say it with all the steaks I have cooked on the grill, lately I have come to prefer the reverse sear method. It performs miracles with Chuck roasts and other chewy pieces of meat. I use the propane griddle to sear it after I pull the steak from the oven. Sizzle some butter on the griddle and put her on!

Angus…always reminds me of my favorite Jack in the Box commercial.

That’s what’s nice about the pellet grill, I too enjoy the reverse sear

Think I got this turkey thing down. Cut the spine out and put in treagers brine with an orange and about two cups of bourbon Tuesday night. This morning I fired up the green mountain grill took the turkey outta the brine patted dry and rubbed with a 50/50 butter and grand mariner, and treagers turkey rub. 225 for the first hour basted with alil more butter booze mix and bumped up to 275° Till internal temp hit 160°. Most juicy flavorful turkey I’ve ever had 0E256DEC-A229-4487-AE88-D8AA8C134A8F.jpeg769EAF85-008B-4A33-A2BC-0308C8AB5EEC.jpeg233C55F1-5D7C-466C-ADB1-DC116A3171B8.jpeg15CAE158-1262-4712-B2F8-7FD51C76C97D.jpeg

Looking good gents. Nothing in the smoker today. Wife wanted to have Turkey in the new kitchen. Came out tasty, can’t complain. No after shots. She cooked a pumpkin this morning and made some nice keto diabetic friendly treats. Pumpkin cheesecake with a pecan crust, some keto pumpkin spice cookies…(eh), spaghetti squash lasagna type thing, Brussels sprouts and butternut squash, mashed taters for the boys and some green beans for the youngest as those are his favorite.

Cake is for tomorrow.  If you hurry, you might get here before it is gone.

It is a very basic chocolate box cake with chocolate fudge frosting.  It is how my mom made them for 60 years.

Can you ups overnight it to me for the price of your choosing &; just bill it to  @Belt Fed?

This is a combo my niece got me hooked on. I’m not a big fan of pickles but this just melds together.

Gerkin pickles, bacon, mozzarella, Gouda, and Parm with garlic Alfredo
