Just purchased a couple of things from Arm or Ally. A VG6 Epsilon 65 muzzle brake. They have it 38% off, for a price of $48.35 before shipping. Also purchased an Aero Precision 308ar charging handle for $21.99 before shipping. and all together for both items, shipping was $8.34. so I'm pretty happy with the cost for both parts.

@98Z5V way better than $72, maybe you should stock up on some VG6s, we know you will eventually need them for rifles. :lmao:

AR, watch the charging handle closely.  My 308 is Aero Precision upper/lower/handguard/BCG, and was including their charge handle.  The front of the charge handle developed a crack on either side right behind the loop that the gas tube passes through.  I assume from manually charging the rifle for the first shot.  This was a couple years ago so they might have changed but I tossed it and went with a BCM large latch and have never regretted it.

Purchase wise.....Waiting on 2 Browning Recon Force Advantage trail cams and 2 LaRue triggers

@Rsquared has this one...  he'll be in here shortly.  There's a review up on it.

Yeah. I've got the 5x20 model. I finally received (after what seemed like forever) the laser range finder for this bitch (1500 meter version). Still haven't done anything with it yet because of:

(A) - laziness

(2) - fukin work.

Plus. I've still gotta re-work that battery pouch so that it doesn't block the charging handle.

So.......still a work in progress. Maybe my gun pusher was right? Maybe I just put this whole setup together to prove that it doesn't work? :lmao:

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep an eye out for it.  I would think that would be something Aero would replace as a defect though if it happened. very odd, never seen that happen before.

Check out Sniper Hog Lights in Victoria Texas.  Great people.

Thanks

99.9 percent of my hunting is under 200yds and probably 70% is 100yds or less. Last deer i got was 30ish yds

So ordered this as it should be good enough. Need to figure out a different mount though!

Mossberg MVP Scout, it's a .308 Win bolt rifle that's external mag fed and compatible with my AR10s' SR25/M110/AR10 mags (and of less interest to me,  M1A mags).  I'm going for the iron-sights only model instead of the combo with the Vortex Scout scope as I'm not sure I would like the forward-mounted optic that is traditionally used on this type of rifle.  Can add a scope, including a Scout or more traditional/non-Scout type option later if I like. I am partial to open sights though and don't have any .308s with irons only so it may just remain stock.

Great hardware.    I didn't go that route on my .308, and did the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle, but I liked that one so much that I did pick up the MVP Scout in 5.56 - topped it with a conventionally-mounted fixed 3x Nikon BDC scope, and it's one hell of a little light rifle.

Glad to hear you vouch for it, now I just have to wait for the gun shop to call.

It's fantastic - after that Ruger GSR, I was on the hunt for a 5.56 bolt that takes AR mags...  lo and behold, Mossberg dropped the MVP, and the first ones were in 5.56.  They didn't announce the .308s until later.  Great guns, the MVPs.  Somewhere on this board, there's a pic of my 5.56 MVP with a SureFire 60 in it.  Just because...   :laffs:

I found a couple pics of it, but I can't find the damn thread on it - you'll like it.  Here's it's little brother...
