Fired a legit World War 1 1911 this morning.  It was a treat.  I was so excited to fire it, that I didn't get any pics of the gun.  It'll be around again, and I snatch some pics, and get them in here.  What a hell of a pistola.  :hail:

This^^ is similarly the start to my addiction to all things considered. Fire side chat.. pics if I can get one. Also had mill issued brown box ammo. 🇺🇸

Shooting it again on 19 Sep.  I will for sure get pics of it then.  Unreal, how smooth it was - for a mass-produced combat gun from WW 1.  The markings on the slide, blew me away, just looking at it.  How it shot - was not expecting that.  Was expecting a WW1 gun.  It was smoooooth...   Didn't think that was gonna happen.

I'll get pics, brothers.  This is a Relic, and a great survivor.

Damn, look at all that meat in the frame!!!   For a 10mm, it's gonna need it - but that thing is just begging for some picatinny cuts in it.

That's fine, fine work, brother.  :hail:

Shot it this morning,  it's a kitten.

Flush cut and crowned the muzzle before I went out, I'm already close to the 200 hr mark, don't think it's going back under the blade anytime soon! Maybe a front sight.
