Yep.....that means that I'm officially a grandfather. At only 48 no less. Funny....I don't feel like an old fart just yet. <laughs>

Old comes fast enough don't encourage it I am 65 this year and I am not old no matter what my body is telling me LOL congrats on being a grandfather that is something to be proud of hope mom and baby are all doing well....

I believe they keep my parents younger, rather than the the misconception that they make you older. I watched my father and my (almost) two year old son run around the house for hours yesterday. Not something I imagine a lot of 62 year old guys doing otherwise.

blue109 Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) that's not a very good yardstick. my wife is Mexican, and some of her extended family exceeds every stereotype. there are cousins a decade and a half younger than you who are grandparents. yea...do the math. there are also aunts and uncles who are younger than their nieces and nephews. cousins who are in the age group of parents or babies. so on an so forth. very confusing for us guerros. that's why everyone in Mexican families are just "cousins" lol. it saves time.
