Happy belated Roman,I guess we'll have to celebrate at the Fall Shoot. Smoke makes for some pretty sunrises and sunsets, as to smoke my place isn't bad but if I go east or south I start to notice.

 Hopefully the predicted rain this weekend helps.

A beautuful, unseasonably warm morning. Good to be up at 4:30 to watch the stars and satellites and put a pork shoulder on the smoker. Had our first snow a week ago.

One of my favorite chefs posted this recipe for creamy mushroom spread on toast and I thought damn I bet that would be good on a steak! ****I hardly ever put anything on steak**** this was awesome I can’t wait to try it in venison or seared duck breast

Yeah.......that looks pretty good. I'm usually a plain steak guy too (except some pepper).
