That's just bad luck. Friend of mine lives in the UP bears EVERY WHERE!! Normally they mind they're own business although they do come around the houses. The center of uranus down the road had the stupid thought bears around my house are bad so he "baited" in a large bear with a bag of flour and killed it and told the dnr it was up to no good. Imo that guy should get the same treatment. My friend did have a bear take a 55 gal drum of bait 200 yards into woods and pry the band off (which was tightened on with a 1/2" bolt) the drum it's self was heavy enough two guys had to move it. After that he put a radio in his shed never had another issue

Couldn't agree more! I like bears and I respect them.Very smart animals. So strong you cannot believe! I saw a three foot diameter hole in a cabin outside of West Yellowstone that a Grizzly tore just to get in. A friend of mine helped trap him. He now sits in an exhibit in the basement of the Earthquake Lake Interpretive Center. A reddish, mean looking bugger.

We don't have many bears in Texas so we are not that knowledgeable of them or used to them like folks are where they are more populous.

Here is a warning from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for this year.  If you read it at length you might get an understanding of what I mean:

Notice they warn you about them yet advise you of the $10,000.00 fine for shooting one.

There are bears and then there are "bares"! Anyway, my friend George up there "disappeared" after breaking into a compact car with 50 pounds of sunflower bird seed in the back seat. The owner woke up to the horn blaring and George was in the drivers seat with his ass up on the steering wheel and his head in the bag of sunflowers in the back seat. He disappeared shortly thereafter. Interesting but there was a loud shot at dusk one evening.  Now back to the regularly scheduled blonde,.. Oops I mean programming.

It's a bit like a clogged toilet, the crap is going to build, overflow, spill over and gravity does the rest...need to add a wall at the border

Move that red line on the Cali/Nevada border straight up to basically separate the cool parts of Oregon and Washington from the liberal cesspools.

Edit: Belay that.  We need to push for City-States.  Grow your hanging gardens in your communist paradise and support yourselves.

Start the southern line at the CA, AZ, MX border. Now draw a straight line up the state to Mendocino. That's where the wall needs to be. You get rid of 90% of the libtards, while keeping 90% of the states resources.
